"Love Never Felt So Good" is the first single released from Michael Jackson's posthumous album entitled Xscape, due out on May 13th through Epic Records. With its buoyant keyboards and effervescent groove, not to mention Jackson's typically sumptuous vocal melody, this new single would have fit right in on 1979's Off the Wall or its world-changing 1982 follow-up album, Thriller. According to a press release, Jackson wrote the tune in 1983 with Paul Anka, around the time they recorded "This Is It", featured in the 2009 concert film of the same title. This new version was produced by John McClain, co-executor of Jackson's estate. There is also another version produced by the trio of Timbaland, J-Roc and Justin Timberlake in which JT duets with Michael Jackson. This one debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Epic Records and Jeep launched a global brand campaign for the car company's Altitude Edition in which Michael Jackson's new single "Love Never Felt So Good" is featured in four 30-second TV commercials. The campaign will air from May 8th and run through the summer.
The late and legendary Michael Jackson is known as the "King of Pop and his contributions to music, dance, and fashion, along with his publicized personal life, made him a global figure in popular culture for over four decades. His 1982 album Thriller is the best selling album of all time. He would go on to create countless more incredible albums and score hit after hit and earn multiple Grammys.
