again... I wouldn't be able to make any more anywhere else than I make now. PEOPLE... STOP THINKING THIS WAY!! If you have talent, there is money to be made! Holy crap, $28k to $35k??? I made that in the 90's!! sheesh.... stop listening to small market PD's. Ugh. you're worth more than that.

Just one more point... One of my pet peeves in this industry is that almost all of us are resigned to doing what we do for little to no money. Cause, that's just the way it is. Couple things: I agree with everyone saying advising you against the degree and debt. It's simply a waste of time I would disagree with this statement, "Can you close? The money is not in programming, production or on air talent." I am on a morning show and I'm making more money than I ever dreamed ...

I'm gonna go one step farther and say, don't get a degree for radio. Everyone should get a degree in something, but make it useful. If one wants a career in radio.... GET IT! Start out part time in a small city and work your way up. The same philosophy held true 20 years ago. If you have talent, you...
