Re: Looking for chart data
Mediabase also has year-end charts from the late 90's in the archives, super helpful for filling out your gold categories with stuff that might not show on the current gold charts.

Re: Hot AC Slogans
I didn't know this was a thing that could happen...just found out someone is claiming copyright infringement on one of my stations' names. Is there an easy way to find out who owns what names? I've tried copyright and trademark searches but can't find anything.

Need Imaging service for new station asap
I'm about to change a format, and I need an imaging service with voiceover that can give me a quick turnaround. I also need it on barter. Format is Alt-Pop. Please don't post a reply, just email radio1017x at gmail.

Re: If I Had My Own Active Rock Station
It's almost never a successful formula to program only the music that you personally like. But, they've got old records, and cheap record players that you can use to record straight into your automation for the older stu...

Sound Cards
So, by virtue of wearing every hat in the building, I'm learning a lot about the technical/engineering side of things. I got the pleasure of taking my radio station out of the box and literally building it. Since then I have been trying to tweak the sound to get the most out of what I have to wok wi...

Re: Gotta love GHETTO RADIO
So someone who doesn't have a lot to spend but posts an ad deserves to be cussed out in public? Nobody is forcing you to apply for a gig you don't think pays well enough, now are they? Regardless of the salary, DO NOT EVER apply for a job at a station I program. In fact, I suggest you quit snivelin...

Re: The trend is changing, what do you think it will change
We need to push the FCC to force FM receivers into cell phones. Use the emergency protocols as a good reason. Then we'd put a good FM radio in everybody's pocket. AMs get FM translators now, so everybody would be covered...
