The answer depends on the company you work for, the compteition in the market place and economics. Once the decision has been made, you have to live with it Document everything, the plusses and minuses. At some point a new dicision will have to made and you need to be prepared to defend your position.

Understanding the Music & the New Generation

The new generation of urban audiences is older, but still think younger and still like to hear new music. Urban AC stations tend to only play research proven classics. Where is this audience going to hear tomorrow's hits?

Arbitron Urban PD Clinic

The Arbitron Urban PD Clinic is usually held every year in February.This year its was not held. Was it cancelled? If so why? If not, are they going to schedule it at a later date. Those of us who participated and felt better about Arbitron want to know.

It seems the Mintority Media & Telecommunications Council pressure has caused Arbitron to make some improvements in its sampling under PPM. Now the next move is to get them to increase
address-based sampling.
