There's are some valid points. As a newbie in the industry, it's very interesting to see how music evolves, and how much politics have to do with promoting a song. No wonder they always play big names - their labels have the money and promotional packages to set the PDs right on up!

Wednesday night proved why Country music is the best industry in the world. There are so many great artists that were highlighted, and its great to know the music is what comes first. I love how diverse the awards were, and believe everyone was very deserving!

I saw a station in Texas recently did a EOTY poll with their listeners...and 70% believe Keith Urban will win! I sure do hope so! That would be a great way to end the year before having to deal with throat surgery

I just love Sonia Leigh. Her new song "My Name is Money" is so wraspy and different than any other female artist out there right now. Check her out foooo real!

I think it shows a lot of heart and sincerity, that the band is planning a private memorial service for those who we lost. They are waiting for the families to have their own closure, and the note Jennifer wrote on Sugarland's website..speaks volumes..

Oh the news in London is so sad. But I agree...at least we DO have some good ole fishin' songs in the mix....esp Justin's "Bait A Hook."
