haha, fun can sometimes be enough, but this one doesn't do it for me. I might sing it in the car, but it never comes on my radio. It's been one that I refuse to add (along with the newest Carrie song.)

Something About A Truck

Okay, I just have to ask this, is Kip Moore's "Something About A Truck" seem like it was written with the help of a dartboard?

Something about a... *throws dart* truck!
Something about a... *throws dart* girl!

Fun? Catchy? Sure, but horribly cliched and complete lack of creativity to me.

Re: Can you earn a livible wage in radio today???

I work in Market 194 and make a decent living as a PD for a locally owned station. I'm not 10 years in this business, done my share of moving around and eating Ramen noodles, but have always done well. I'm married with an infant and we are currently making it just on my salary. Now when the kid gets...

Re: Taylor Hall Donation

Well Dustin, I'd still rather her pick one format and stick with it. If she's going to be country, be country. Don't do different mixes so it can be played on every station in the market. Do ONE country mix and if others want to play it, by all means. I mean I understand the reasoning behind it ($$$...

I brought this up on the air yesterday. Love her or hate her, people have got to respect her for her philanthropy and public image.

Re: Chris Young

That's awesome! I've got some guys I'm going to call and tell them to submit their tunes, ha! To me, Chris Young is one of the best to come out in the last 10 years. He's country, REAL country. Cowboy hat, boots, southern drawl. His songs remind me of what I grew up listening to. I may be in the min...

Re: Greg Bates Visit

So I really enjoyed Greg Bates. He did a great acoustic set opening up in front of Rodney Atkins on Saturday. Had a chance to shoot the breeze with him backstage and is a really cool, down to earth dude. Can't ask for much more than that!
