Any hard rock format would have to be aimed at the upper demos, sorry, just not enough kids to support it. While I believe that the older demo will accept new music that's on the heavier side, they won't at all tolerate an alternative mix.

Hilarious. Radio is entertainment. Each station is aimed at a specific demographic. Typecasting is necessary to deliver those demographics.
