Should AMP in Detroit be a Rhythmic station or a Pop?

AMP in The D should be a POP station that leans Rhythmic

Do the Urbans in Detroit just shut down the hole for a conventional Rhythm? Is suburban Detroit the target?

There is plenty of room for what Channel 955 did ... they killed in the ratings before Dom left and the station was "auto programmed" out of NYC versus local input. There are tons of disenfranchised listeners to WQKI.

AMP is a new product carving out its own niche ... one of them will "blink" and get more Top 40/Rhythmic again ... watch.

I think you're right, Iknow. Any word on how/when Amp will staff up?
