FOR STARTERS...PROGRAMMING WOULD REFLECT THE MARKET.
IDEALLY MY URBAN AC WOULD PLAY A VERY WELL MASSAGED MIX OF SMOOTH JAZZ, CLASSIC R&B, SOME KIBBLES AND BITS OF HIP HOP AND TODAYS R&B (SADE, CHARLIE WILSON, RKELLY, NEYO,KELLY PRICE, USHER, ERYKAH BADU)

The previously posted list by bjordan is a cool, that's very reflective of some of what I'd call ideal.

I love Erykah Badu espically Tyrone From 1997. KJLH in Los Angeles still spins it as a throwback. The original KKBT 92.3 The Beat in Los Angeles used to play it all day long.

My ideal urban AC would also play Kem's first hit Love Calls from 2002.

All these songs that I've posted above had great spins on 102.3 KJLH including Remy Shand's Take A Message.

I first heard Remy Shand Take A Message on 102.3 KJLH in February 2002 one afternoon when Lon McQ was working the 2:00pm-6:00pm and Cliff Winston was PD. It was fits Urban AC radio.
