Radio Station TV Commercials

Post by cbsmith » Tue Sep 18, 2012 3:00 pm

I am trying to find a listing of production companies that produce TV commercials for radio stations. I see radio spots from time to time on tv and they look like they are canned for any station, just add logo. But is there a group of video production companies producing these. Any help would be great!

The other route is that we have the ability to produce high quality video production in our company, but I am not sure about needing to buy the rights to music videos to use in an in-house spot. I would assume that we would have to purchase some sort of license for this.

Thoughts?? Thanks!

Filmhouse used to be the biggie when it came to TV spots for radio. They're at filmhouse.com

You might want to check the "Industry Directory" on AA for some other companies.

And yes, if you roll your own you'll have to get licensing for the music you use.

Chaotic Studios - Clark Deal can make you anything you want. He's directed several music videos, & has done a lot of video production for the OKC Thunder

I realize I'm way late on this thread, but my company, GrooveWorx, has a similar service called "Splice." And we produce the spots for barter.

Check out www.grooveworx.com/splice and e-mail me at nick@grooveworx.com if you're interested or have any questions.
