Thanks for your post. You are absolutely right that social media marketing is the way to promote your business and easy money making process. Basically Social media marketing is a recent component of organizations' integrated marketing communications plans. Integrated marketing communications is a principle organizations follow to connect with their targeted markets. Integrated marketing communications coordinates the elements of the promotional mix—advertising, personal selling, public relations, publicity, direct marketing, and sales promotion—to produce a customer focused message.[1] In the traditional marketing communications model, the content, frequency, timing, and medium of communications by the organization is in collaboration with an external agent, i.e. Advertising agencies, marketing research firms, and public relations firms. [2] However, the growth of social media has impacted the way organizations communicate with their customers. In the emergence of Web 2.0, the internet provides a set of tools that allow people to build social and business connections, share information and collaborate on projects online...

Pretty subtle about placing your ads. No...not really. But your attempt to generate business here highlights EXACTLY what's wrong with radio today. Young whiz kids jumping in to the business with all the answers when they don't even know what the questions are.

"Hey! Check out this classic car I found in my grampas barn!"
"Yeah! Let's weld some wings on it! We'll see if we can get it started later..."

No wonder radio is struggling the way it is. It's run by people who fall in to fountains because they can't take their eyes off their phone.

Hurry up, Darwin. I'd like to see radio come back.

So there are two services for sale here?

One a young guy who wants to handle social networking for stations who hired idiots who can't multitask while they are on the air and don't care about developing a connection with their listeners.

The other an older gentleman who does a weekend show for am radio time filler showcasing his mind reading abilities in the Gran Torino "get off my lawn" narrative.

Somehow I think that maybe the two should come together.

Wrong, Don. This "older gentleman" isn't hawking anything. I'm merely pointing out that those running the business today know nothing about the essence of radio and how to make it work and GENERATE REVENUE. If they did, radio wouldn't suck as bad as it does, now would it?.

As far as my one hour weekend "filler", I'm on the air as much as I want to be and generate plenty that goes in to MY pocket. You?

Oh, and you should check out my most recent post...
