Absolutely. With the vibrant Northwest music scene that is largely Triple A friendly, this is surprising. Sounds like a decision made to delineate stations within a cluster, more than a reflection of the demand for the format in Seattle.

Perhaps. PPM has been tough on them... and you know that market Sky. Seattle proper is quite cosmopolitan, but the overall market is decidedly less so. In addition to the Alternative within Entercom's cluster there are Modern AC, non-com AAA, Classic Hits, and deeper than average Classic Rock options in Seattle, making The Mountain's way forward less than clear...
