Mobile Apps for Radio Stations

Post by lisaonair » Mon Mar 13, 2017 8:43 am

Hi! I'm at a medium market station and we are doing initial research into putting our station on a mobile app- Can I get some recommendations? I've only been able to find two services called 'Futuri' and 'RadioKing'.

We are currently utilizing the TuneIn app and want direct app instead.

What are your recommendations?

Most of my research is turning up companies trying to help getting internet radio stations on an app - but I'm looking for something for our FM broadcast station.

Thank you in advance! :D

The streaming company we use to broadcast our station online provides a free app, with some basic customization, for android and iphone. Some of the streaming service providers offer free apps as part of their package.

We use http://www.securenetsystems.net/, I'm not advertising or suggesting that you or anyone else use them, just wanted to give you the information.

I've used Securenetsystems for 5 years on 4 stations. Highly recommend them. The apps are reliable and easy to set up.

Lookup Nobex Partners (http://www.nobexpartners.com). They set me up with an app and it continues to work just fine. I haven't paid a dollar and I've had it since late last year. This is the first company I've tried so, this is my recommendation based ONLY on my experience with this company. Here's a link if you want to see what it looks like and the features it provides (They did all the leg work in submitting the app to iTunes, Google Play and BlackBerry World):

iTunes:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/access- ... 25022?mt=8

Google Play:

BlackBerry World:
