Jock Names – Which Name is Best?

Post by rogerwimmer » Sun Apr 11, 2010 4:34 pm

Do you have anything on what the best male and female names are for radio? It's a Classic Rock radio station if that matters. - Anonymous

Anon: The best way I have found to select a radio name is to: (1) Make sure the name fits the personality and the radio station; and (2) Ask your listeners if you can, or at least ask people at the radio station and several other friends. (I have never seen or heard of station management paying for research for jock names.)
