I like to play with "dead" software, and have discovered something interesting about MusicGen: You are limited to 999,999 songs. I know, that ought to be plenty, right? Except if you use CC numbering, they've gone past that into the 7 digits. You'd have to blow off gospel or some other lesser format and reuse that number series.
