Donnie is very entitled to take the money and run -- he's made millions for himself and CBS. No shame in saying "I'm done ... OK, next."
I admire him for stepping aside. Gives another up and coming talent a shot!
Radio stars are not born! Like Donnie Simpson and so many other -- Rick Dees, Ryan Seacrest, Cousin Brucie, Larry Lujack, and on and on -- they all started out doing shitty shifts and honed their skills at small stations in small markets.
They rose to the top of their game. Batter up!
