Our ideal morning show producer will be a highly skilled communicator who is passionate, who is driven and proactive in their approach to work. We’re looking for someone with diverse experience who can understand and communicate issues from different points of view. They will coordinate a show or shows that discuss the issues of the day, relatable to and important matters to our community. Management will assign responsibilities on a regular and/or rotating basis depending upon need and proven capabilities and the need to provide expertise for the future. This position will also be responsible for running the board.

Run a tight board
Be alert in telling your team how many more seconds they have before they go on the air
Be super creative
Make sure that the levels are strong
Prepare the layout of the show with the team
You must be a strong leader
Have audio ready to be incorporated into the show from news-makers
Book interviews with celebrities and news-makers (local and national)
Do not air any calls of bad quality
Produce morning show promos daily
Screen calls before airing them
Edit phone calls
Make sure that all features air on time
Watch the news every night to see what is going on in the community
Be astute with social media so that you team is seen daily on social media (assist with blogs/FB live posts)
Conduct pre & post morning show meetings
Arrival time is 4:00 a.m.
Attend weekly air-check meeting with program director
Producing of a radio show experience is required
Write promos

Minimum 2 years of on air and/or radio/tv producer experience.
Audio editing ability. Video editing a plus.
Ability to think fast and react quickly and decisively in a fast-paced environment.
Able to juggle multiple tasks.
Work with air talent to facilitate all aspects of a high profile radio show.
Working knowledge of pop/urban culture. Assist with keeping the show updated on the latest trends in pop culture.
Share and brainstorm ideas which could bring about programming continuity.
Contribute show information to all social media platforms.
