18 Year Country Radio Veteran With Programing, Production, Imaging, and 2 College Degrees Can Work From Home / Station

*If you don't have a full-time opening, I'm up for part-time:
- Voicetracking from home
- Imaging / voicing production from home
- website updates from home
- LIVE show from home (via Telos Z/IP One).

Dear Program Director:

Hello, my name is “Big John” Horton and I live in Poteau, Oklahoma. I am a talented person who is looking for a full-time on-air position. I have been in Country format for my career, but I am interested in doing Rock or even do a little Talk Radio. I am passionate about Radio. While earning my, almost 18 years of experience, I have enhanced my abilities that include, but not limited to, radio programming, social media, working with the public in multiple ways, coming up with a number of ideas about a topic (it has been said that I have an ability to come up with unusual or creative ways to solve some problems too), the ability to time shift between multiple projects (such as working imaging and production), and not to brag, I usually can detect if something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. If you are in need of a loyal team player, I want to be a part of the team. My philosophy is simple: “Actions speak louder than words + Do what I say I’m going to do = Kicking the butt of those in the way.” I have next to no ego, I admit I can be playfully competitive, but I am a quick learner, and I am VERY HUNGRY FOR KNOWLEDGE. To be honest, it is my dream to own an AM/FM station one day soon. If you need a voice pro with the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand, I am your person. I'm willing to voice-track and do production from my home studio for a small fee to those interested. I guess you could call me the total package and would be a good catch as I make my way up in the industry I love so much. My website is at www.thebigjohnshow.com for more details.

With all this said, ask yourself this question: what can I do when YOU employ me? Just look at my resume and listen to my air-check so I can be considered for an on-air position that you may have now or in the near future. Please feel free to email me at bigjohn@thebigjohnshow.com and my phone number is (918) 839-0972. Willing to relocate if the gig is worth it. I hope to hear from you soon.
