Do you have a passion for informing and entertaining your community on the latest news, events, twists, and turns in an ever-changing world? If you relish the opportunity to tell stories that affect our daily lives through anchoring, reporting, and hosting this Host/News position may be the perfect fit for you!
You will start your day Monday – Friday hosting the WHTC Morning News on 99 7 and 1450 WHTC. The show includes short interview segments along with all of the service elements our listeners expect. You’ll be joined by our news director who anchors top and bottom of the hour local newscasts. At the end of your show, you will switch over to our news department to gather, write and report the news on-air and online via our website and social media channels. You will also be responsible for a Saturday or Sunday shift which will include board operation for various recorded and live programs while you gather write and report the news.

WHTC is a full-service News/Talk/Sports and Weather radio station that provides the voice for our community. The right candidate will be naturally curious, love to speak with newsmakers and listeners, write stories for on-air and online, understand the art of the tease on-air, online and on social media and will understand the importance of Holland on the West Michigan area.

The position will require a valid driver license and a clean driving record.
