"Cold" is the newest single from the sultry pop rock group, Maroon 5. They joined forces with the influential hip-hop artist, Future who shares a few verses with Adam on the track. The single was released via Interscope/Geffen/A&M and will appear on their upcoming sixth studio album.
Maroon 5 was established in Los Angeles, California in 2001. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Adam Levine, lead guitarist James Valentine, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Jesse Carmichael, bassist Mickey Madden, drummer Matt Flynn and keyboardist PJ Morton.
Maroon 5 released their debut album, "Songs About Jane", in 2002 to much success. The album's lead single, "Harder to Breathe", was widely played and earned the group a spot at number six on the Billboard 200 chart. In 2005, Maroon 5 was awarded a Grammy for Best New Artist. The group released their second album, "It Won't Be Soon before Long" in 2007 reaching number one on the US Billboard 200 chart. The lead single, "Makes Me Wonder", became the band's first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100. Maroon 5 released their third studio album, "Hands All Over", in 2010 and their fourth album, "Overexposed", in 2012. The group released their fourth and most recent album "V" in 2014 after signing with their new label, Interscope Records.
