Ant Clemons was born September 26, 1991 in New Jersey. Growing up, his parents introduced him to the music of Notorious B.I.G., Michael Jackson, and Stevie Wonder. Clemons would perform with his sisters at family events and also sang in the church choir. He started writing as a young man while working in Philadelphia at Red Lobster.
He relocated to Los Angeles and continued to write songs and meet with producers and other writers. A producer friend introduced Clemons to R&B singer Jeremih, which then led to a meeting with Kanye West. Together they worked on material which appeared on West's 2019 album Jesus In King. Clemons would go on to work with artists including Beyonce, Chance The Rapper, and Skrillex.
Recently, Clemons co-wrote "My Oh My" a 2020 single for Camila Cabello. His 2020, EP Happy 2 Be Here was listed as a nominee at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.
Better Days, featuring Justin Timberlake, was performed at the inauguration of President Joe Biden on January 20, 2021.
