Glass Animals are an English Pop band formed in 2010. Members include lead singer Dave Bayley, Joe Seaward, Ed Irwin-Singer and Drew MacFarlane.
The band's first release was a 2012 EP, Leaflings. Seeing the band's performance in London during this period, Paul Epworth, producer for superstar Adele, signed them to his record label.
By 2014, the band was in the U.S., where they performed at South By Southwest. They released their debut album, Zaba, which included the single "Gooey," a song that reached the Top 30 at Alternative radio and eventually certified Platinum by the RIAA.
The group's next album, 2016's How To Be A Human Being featured the Top 15 Alt hit, "Life Itself".
That album's follow-up, Dreamland, arrived in August of 2020. It became the band's biggest U.S. album to date, peaking at #7. The track "Heat Waves" was released and also included on the FIFA 21 soundtrack.
