Paul Simon will launch a national tour for his first upcoming studio album in five years, So Beautiful or So What, on April 15th in Seattle, Washington. Simon will be playing hits that span from his entire career, including several songs that have been previously neglected live.
Simon will also be the guest on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon for two nights on April 6th and 7th.
Simon's touring band includes guitarist Vincent Nguini, drummer Jim Oblon, pianist Mick Rossi, saxophonist/keyboardist Andrew Snitzer, bassist Bakithi Kumalo, guitarist Mark Stewart, master percussionist Jamey Haddad and multi-instrumentalist Tony Cedras.
Elvis Costello has been tapped to pen the liner notes to So Beautiful or So What, due out April 12th via Hear Music/Concord Music Group.
