Aria Tesolin
Aug 13, 2012
Aria Tesolin is a Canadian teen singer whose multi-hued operatic vocals have become known worldwide, courtesy of her charismatic early concert performances as a child opera singing sensation. A unique hybrid of vocalist and musician, Aria writes and composes most of her own songs and is also an accomplished spoken word and literary poet. Aria released her first album Baby Soprano, a novelty 14 track popular opera album, at the age of 12, inspired by the vocals of Andrea Bocelli. 11 tracks from this album have appeared in opera charts in 13 countries.
Now, more fully grown in her craft, Aria's music arcs in an artist and voice-defined genre that is pop-classical meets adult contemporary, with light touches of crossover and crooner jazz. Aria's majestic voice brings a sense of mystery and enchantment to the love songs in her self-titled EP. Her first single from the EP, "Dolce", released on Feb 2nd is a beautiful pop-classical love song with an epic score by Italian composer Popi Fabrizio and Aria's soaring vocals. "Dolce" is innocent and inspiring without being sappy - a modern refresh to the classic music of yesterday. "The Key" is a latin pinched mysterious love song with a beat, while "Now That I Know" has elements of 40's crooner and gentle jazz/pop.
Aria delights in telling stories with her music and exploring unique sentiments. She is now completing her first self-styled full album which she promises will be full of surprises.
