What About Now is the twelfth studio album by rock band Bon Jovi. Produced by John Shanks, the album was released on March 12th 2013. The album debuted at #1 in the U.S., where it sold 101,000 copies in its first week debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200. What About Now became their third album in a row to hit #1 in US after The Circle and Lost Highway and their fifth #1 album during their career. The album has sold over 800,000 copies worldwide.
Formed in 1983, Bon Jovi consists of lead singer and namesake Jon Bon Jovi (John Francis Bongiovi, Jr.), guitarist Richie Sambora, keyboardist David Bryan, and drummer Tico Torres. In 1986, Bon Jovi achieved widespread global recognition with their third album, Slippery When Wet. The band's fourth album, New Jersey was equally successful in 1988, and between 1986-1995, Bon Jovi had 13 U.S. Top 40 hits, including four number-one songs on the Billboard Hot 100: "You Give Love a Bad Name", "Livin' on a Prayer", "Bad Medicine", and "I'll Be There for You". Thus far, Bon Jovi has released 12 studio albums, plus three compilations and two live albums. They are one of the world's best-selling bands of all time, having sold more than 130 million records worldwide, performed more than 2,700 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 35 million fans.] Bon Jovi was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2006. The band was also honored with the Award of Merit at the American Music Awards in 2004, and as songwriters and collaborators, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora were inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2009
In October 2012, Bon Jovi announced Because We Can, a new world tour for 2013, in support of their new album, that will start in February and will visit North America, Europe, Africa, the Far East, Australia and Latin America.
