New Politics
Aug 25, 2013

Danish rockers, New Politics are stirring up a frenzy on rock radio and are now slowly but surely crossing over into pop territory with their new single, "Harlem." It's a potent slice pop-rock with a stomping groove, subtle guitar riff and an anthemic chorus about "shaking it up" like "a bad girl in Harlem" that is instantly catchy (and totally fun). To give "Harlem" a little extra boost, the group unveils a full remix package that includes a cool remake by White Sea aka Morgan Kibby who also known as the rocking and raving keyboard player of M83.
New Politics is made up of David Boyd, Søren Hansen, and Louis Vecchio. The band's sound is mainly alternative rock. It has been described as a blend of "punk, pop, and electronically induced dance rock". They have released two albums: New Politics in 2010 and more recently, A Bad Girl in Harlem in 2013.
