Celeste Rizvana Buckingham is a Slovak singer-songwriter. As the former finalist of Cesko Slovenská SuperStar (2011), Buckingham gained early recognition on the second season of the Czech and Slovak reality television, co-produced for audiences of the two nations.
Having placed tenth in the competition, Celeste promptly established her early career with two hit singles, "Blue Guitar" and "Nobody Knows", which were welcomed with a top-ten response on the component airplay chart in her home country, along with her first collaboration with Majk Spiriton "Ja a ty", recorded for the rapper's studio album. Her mainstream record followed when she was signed to Pitbull's Mr. 305 record label to record her full-length debut entitled, "Don't Look Back" in 2012. Celeste is now confirmed to be a judge on the Slovak version of X Factor.
"Run Run Run" is the lead single from this album in the US and already has over 14 million views on YouTube and is gaining major market airplay at HAC radio. This composition was written by Celeste, along with producers Andrej Hruška and Martin Šrámek. In the Czech Republic, the song is ranked as the most played song for any Slovak performer in the respective year.
In addition to her singing career, Celeste Buckingham is has also done TV hosting, modeling, and she is a co-author of children's book entitled, "The Lost Princess" which she wrote with her sister Carmel.
