MKTO

"Classic" is the latest single out now by pop duo MKTO. It was written by Evan "Kidd" Bogart, Andrew Goldstein, Emanuel Kiriakou and Lindy Robbins.
Like the name MKTO, which combines the initials of singers Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller, the duo blends genres on its bubbly breakthrough Classic. "I love pop and rap," Oller says. "Bringing those two worlds together is always fun." Oller and Kelley met and bonded over a shared love of music during screen tests for TeenNick's Gigantic, where they were cast as best friends on the TV show that ran in 2010 and 2011. "Any time we had, we would go into our trailers and record music on GarageBand," says Oller. YouTube covers of songs like Chris Brown's Champion and B.o.B's Airplanes led to a publishing deal with producers Emanuel Kiriakou and Evan "Kidd" Bogart, then a contract with Columbia Records.
