The rapper, Charles Hamilton has broken his musical silence with "New York Raining" via Republic Records. It is his first major-label release since 2008's "Brooklyn Girls." For the new single, he enlists the pop singer, Rita Ora. In fact, he appeared alongside Ora to perform the piano-driven cut on the season finale of Fox's hit series Empire. Hamilton plans to release his major-label debut, produced entirely by the Invisible Men, later this year.
Hamilton gained major recognition after being featured on the cover of the XXL's 2009 Freshmen cover issue and signing a record deal with Interscope Records, in 2008. He is also known for using the animated character Sonic the Hedgehog as his mascot and trademark.
