Via Warner Brothers, Adam Lambert's newest single is entitled "Ghost Town". This is the first single from his forthcoming third album, The Original High, due out on June 16th. The song, which was produced by Max Martin and Shellback, starts simply with a slow moody guitar strum.
"The first single feels like the perfect introduction to The Original High," Lambert recently explained. "It establishes itself in a very earthy, vulnerable way and transforms into a hypnotic dream full of surreal imagery and set to a minimal yet massive deep house beat. The hook will worm its way into your ears after the first listen. Get ready!"
The season eight American Idol contestant released his debut studio album, For Your Entertainment in 2009. It debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 with 198,000 copies in first-week sales, and reached the top 10 in several countries. Its singles "For Your Entertainment", "Whataya Want from Me" and "If I Had You" also became international successes. His second studio album, Trespassing, came out in May to critical acclaim.
