How 'bout that Super Bowl, eh?
It's funny, as many people, who are talking about the game, are talking about the commercials!
In fact, in a recent study, 58% said they would rather take their bathroom breaks during the game and not during spot breaks so they could see the commercials. And did you see NBC last week, during prime time, had a one-hour Super Bowl commercials show?
So what does that mean to you?
Not much, other than it highlights the need for superior creative. Agencies cut back on that department and you probably have too and no or slow results for clients is the result. The best schedule in the world, on the most popular station, still won't work if the creative sucks.
I'm suggesting you put a renewed emphasis on that and watch your results improve ... both for your clients and your P & L.
