Walk the sales department at 5:00 and see who is still working....take a look at appointments set for next week and who is best prepared versus those at happy hour. I would give some small incentive to the soldiers who are still there working.

If you haven't done so, make final preparations for your 1st Qtr incentive sale.....your sales manager's should be able to show you a plan that increases revenue vs. 05 by +10%. Successful 1st Qtr sales all come down to activity and preparation.

Call the National reps in your key offices to get on the calendar for Jan calls to discuss the Fall Book.

Inspect your remote equipment to make sure it is representative of the quality of your stations. Faded and torn tents are a key indication to clients that you don't care about your image.

You probably have some sort of Halloween promotion tonight, meet with your promotions director and re-emphasize the policy of no drinking by employees at station events. Waking up Tuesday to a lawsuit is a bad way to start 4th Qtr.
