Evanescence recorded a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain which was used in spot for the X-Box game Gears5  from the Gears of War series. The spot aired constantly in September & October behind a multi-million dollar ad campaign that was featured heavily during MLB playoffs as well as college & pro football. In addition, Gears 5 was Microsoft’s most successful video game launch since Halo 4 launched in 2012. Evanescence is currently in the studio writing and recording – 2020 will be a busy year with touring and new music coming
