COMMUNICORP Talk NEWSTALK 106/DUBLIN has been awarded a national license for a News-Talk station across most of IRELAND.
The BROADCASTING COMMISSION OF IRELAND awarded the ten-year license, subject to the successful completion of contract negotiations, on MONDAY. NEWSTALK 106, the only applicant for the quasi-national license, will keep its present DUBLIN facility, trading in its local license for a national license that will put the programming on FM facilities between 106 and 107 on the dial in other areas of the country.
