MARTZ Urban WAMO-W261AX (WAMO 100)/PITTSBURGH PD TIM SHELTON is scheduled to exit this week.

SHELTON, who uses the air name TIM STEELE and hosted mornings, has been the station's only PD since the latest incarnation of WAMO started earlier this year.  Although ratings were not cited as an issue, the station, an AM daytimer with an FM translator, debuted with an overall 6+ of 2.0, has experienced a gradual ratings erosion over the past several months.

SHELTON's career path includes PD stops at WBBK/DOTHAN, AL and WMGI/TERRE HAUTE, IN. No replacement has been named at this time.
