CLEAR CHANNEL Urban WBTP (95.7 THE BEAT)/TAMPA PD/midday host JOMAMA JOHNSON will retire on DECEMBER 20th. BO MONEY will replace JOHNSON as PD/middayer effective DECEMBER 26th.
"JO's contribution to CLEAR CHANNEL/TAMPA and specifically 95.7 THE BEAT has been significant, and he will be missed by many people here," said Market Mgr. SAM NEIN.
"I have had the privilege to work with JO in both BIRMINGHAM and in TAMPA,” said OM DOUG HAMAND. "JO is a pro, a friend and he will be sorely missed."
BO MONEY will replace JOHNSON. He joins CLEAR CHANNEL/COLUMBIA, S.C. He previously held positions as PD and OM in DETROIT for RADIO ONE.
"I am very excited about this new venture. I have always looked at CLEAR CHANNEL/TAMPA as a 'dream market' in my years with the company," said MONEY. "I’m looking forward to executing great radio and upholding the TAMPA standards while living the dream."
"I'm extremely excited for BO to come in and take over the successful reigns that JO has left him," said HAMAND. "We won't miss a 'beat.'"
