After 20 Years, Bob Cole Exits The KVET Morning Show

Says Goodbye

CLEAR CHANNEL Country KVET/AUSTIN and longtime morning host BOB COLE have parted ways, reports AUSTIN 360.

"I revere the KVET call letters and the incredible people I've worked with over the years," said COLE. "There's no animosity. Everything's going to be OK."

"BOB COLE recently made the decision to leave KVET," said Market Mgr. PAM MCKAY. "We appreciate his service and dedication, and wish him the best of luck in the future."

As for a replacement, MCKAY added, "We have not made any specific decisions yet, but will continue with the momentum of the morning show as it currently stands."

The station posted a "Farewell" to COLE on its website.
