DETROIT born-and bred Rock/Country singer KID ROCK is returning to his roots in a way, as he is partnering with a DETROIT church to give away hundreds of gift baskets and gift certificates to needy families in the area, the AP reports. The musician's nonprofit organization, the KID ROCK FOUNDATION, joined HARTFORD MEMORIAL BAPTIST CHURCH on WEDNESDAY to distribute 100 gift certificates and more than 300 gift baskets.
