Rasmussen Polls: Most OK With FCC Policing Indecency, Most Rely On TV For Political News

New Findings

A RASMUSSEN REPORTS poll of 1,000 Americans shows that 64% of respondents favor FCC regulation of "profanity, violence and sexual content on TV and radio."  

24% oppose FCC regulation of indecency, and 11% are undecided.  The poll comes as the Supreme Court considers arguments in television indecency cases challenging the FCC's rules as vague.

Another RASMUSSEN poll shows that voters will rely primarily on television for political news during the election season, with 32% favoring cable and 22% traditional TV networks.  The Internet was cited by 24%, with just 7% saying they would rely chiefly on radio.
