  It might be too late, but a local group opposed to the sale of noncommercial KTPB/LONGVIEW, TX from KILGORE COLLEGE to Contemporary Christian programmer EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION has been formed.
  The LONGVIEW NEWS-JOURNAL reports that a WEDNESDAY meeting of local arts supporters held by the EAST TEXAS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA resulted in an agreement to oppose the sale. The college is getting $2.46 million over 10 years for the station; the FCC's 30 day public comment period started on TUESDAY.
