Silent daytimer WPJX-A/ZION, IL (north of CHICAGO, near the WISCONSIN border) returns to the air with a Reggaeton format under new owner POLNET, according to the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES' ROBERT FEDER. The station has been silent since JANUARY, when former owner MULTICULTURAL pulled the plug on the station's Oldies format. It was an owned-and-operated RADIO DISNEY affiliate before MULTICULTURAL bought the station in 2002. The station is presently jockless and being temporarily managed by former POLNET CEO KENT GUSTAFSON.
