TALKSTAR RADIO NETWORK is launching what it calls "triplecasting," offering radio shows with cameras in the studios to allow it to provide video for use by independent TV stations, users of "free-to-air" Ku-band satellite dishes, and Internet streaming video. Boss VICTOR IVES says that the syndicator's "THE X ZONE" and "TALKSTAR MORNING" will be the first shows offered in the video format, and that LPTVs in OREGON and NEVADA, a digital multicast channel in VIRGINIA, and a cable system in GUATEMALA are the first to carry the programming. "STARNETWORK TV" also includes a library of movies aired without commercial interruption.
