NPR To Offer ‘World Cafe’ 20th Anniversary Series To Members

The Celebration Continues

UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA Triple A WXPN/PHILADELPHIA’s nationally syndicated show, "World Cafe," marked its 20th Anniversary in October 2011.  Over that time, more than 3,000 high-profile musicians have appeared on the program.

Now the national syndicator of the show, NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO (NPR), is offering World Cafe’s 20th Anniversary Special to all NPR member stations via a special series feed through ContentDepot.  The series will consist of 13 episodes featuring the show's most outstanding guests, the first time now-famous artists appeared on the show and career retrospectives of legendary musicians.

The first episode will be available on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6th, and a new episode will post every MONDAY through APRIL 30th.
