Jeff Cameron Exits Tallahassee's Team

CLEAR CHANNEL Sports WNLS-F (1270 AM THE TEAM)/TALLAHASSEE afternoon host JEFF CAMERON has exited the station, reports the TALLAHASSEE DEMOCRAT.

CAMERON, who also hosted a weekend "SEMINOLE HEADLINES" FLORIDA STATE show, has been on the station since 1999, first in mornings and later in the 3-6p (ET) slot.  CAMERON said he left THE TEAM to "pursue other opportunities," and added that he is "extremely grateful for the many coworkers, guests and listeners who have made this such a magical 12 or 13 years.  I especially want to thank the late LEE BOWEN for hiring me, and MATT MILLAR, who produced the show for so many years. Not many people get to come to work with their best friend every day, but I did."

The station declined comment to the paper.
