Moody Radio Celebrates Black History Month

Offers 'Treasured Moments' Features

MOODY RADIO will celebrate BLACK HISTORY MONTH with a series of features entitled "TREASURED MOMENTS IN BLACK HISTORY" that highlights people and events that shaped AMERICAN history.
 
“There is power in hearing stories from our past that helped shape our future.  Some of the people and events we highlight are well-known and others are not.  But each story illustrates a picture of the past that helps us understand that black history is an inspiring part of AMERICAN history," said MOODY RADIO/CHICAGO Station Manager ROY PATTERSON.
 
The series covers people and events from the 1800s through TODAY and the subject of each feature was chosen by the MOODY RADIO voice talent that recorded it.  Each weekday in the month of FEBRUARY there will be a new feature and each weekend all five from the previous week will rotate through SATURDAY and SUNDAY.
 
In addition to the "TREASURED MOMENTS" features, MOODY RADIO’s daily programming will focus much of its content on BLACK HISTORY MONTH.  More information about the "TREASURED MOMENTS IN BLACK HISTORY" features can be found here.
