KKOB-A/Albuquerque Keeps #1 Ratings Streak Alive At 46 Books

There have been long runs by heritage Talk stations at the top of the ARBITRON ratings, but most, like the legendary streaks by KGO-A/SAN FRANCISCO and KMOX-A/ST. LOUIS, have come to an end.  Not so, however, for CUMULUS Talk KKOB-A/ALBUQUERQUE.

AM Operations Dir.PAT FRISCH tells ALL ACCESS that KKOB's first-place finish in the FALL 2011 book represents the station's 46th book in a row at the top of the Persons 12+ rankings.  FRISCH believes that the streak is the longest active run at #1 for talk stations in the U.S.
