MARKETING PROMOTION NETWORK, INC. is selling Spanish News WLUZ-A (ACCION 1600)/BAYAMON, PR to LA MAS Z RADIO, INC. for $1 million. The buyer presently operates the station under an LMA.
In other filings with the FCC, MUNBILLA BROADCASTING PROPERTIES, LTD. is selling silent KYRT/HUNT, TX and KZZM/MASON, TX to TOM, RICK, AND HARLEY BROADCASTING LLC for $292,822. MUNBILLA sold KRZS (THE ROSE)/HUNT-KERRVILLE, TX and Country KHLB (LONESTAR 102.5)/MASON, TX to the same buyers last year and included a right of first offer to buy KYRT.
BORDERLAND CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING FELLOWSHIP, INC. is selling FM translator K204EL/WARROAD, MN to HEARTLAND CHRISTIAN BROADCASTERS, INC. for $1.
SEWARD MEDIA PARTNERS, LLC is selling the construction permit for KKNI/STERLING, AK to KENAI BROADCASTING LLC for $1.
EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION's SAN JOAQUIN BROADCASTING CO. has been granted a change of community of license for its Contemporary Christian KLVS (K-LOVE)/STOCKTON, CA to LIVERMORE, CA. The move relieves the present and proposed facilities of the station of the problem of failure to cover the former city of license with a 70 dBu signal. The FCC's action also grants a waiver of shortspacing rules as applied to second-adjacent CUMULUS Rock KSAN (107.7 THE BONE) and CBS RADIO News KFRC-F (simulcast of News KCBS-A)/SAN FRANCICSO for the community of license change, since the move does not require a site change.
BLESSED PATH FOUNDATION, INC. has requested an extension of its Silent STA for KNPY/BROWNING, MT due to the owner needing to attend to family matters; it says the station will return to the air after the winter weather has passed.
And THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY is asking for an extension of its Silent STA for FM translator W208AT/COSHOCTON, OH while it awaits Commission action on a change of frequencies, prompted by the translator's displacement by the launch of full-power WHVY/COSHOCTON.
