WLW/Cincinnati Changes TV Partners

CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WLW-A/CINCINNATI switches allegiances, striking a deal to join forces with former sister NBC affiliate WLWT (TV) for news and weather collaboration. The CINCINNATI POST reports that the new arrangement, beginning AUGUST 1, replaces the station's previous relationship with CLEAR CHANNEL sister CBS affiliate WKRC-TV, from which WLW has been using weather reports by TIM HEDRICK and STEVE HORSTMEYER. WKRC-TV keeps its relationship with the other radio stations in CLEAR CHANNEL's local cluster.
