WEDR Helps In Search Effort To Locate Missing Teen

COX RADIO Urban WEDR(99JAMZ)/MIAMI launched a series of live broadcasts from nearby WASHINGTON PARK COMMUNITY CENTER in an effort to help find a missing 17 year-old MIRAMAR teenager, NAKETA LEIBA.

The community center has become a kind of temporary headquarters during the week-long search effort. NAKETA disappeared while walking home from school last WEDNESDAY (2/5). Word traveled quickly throughout SOUTH FLORIDA as WEDR joined with the missing teen's parents and local police in seeking information on the teen's whereabouts from their listening audience.  They have vowed to keep up their efforts until NAKETA is found.
