The syndicated PAUL and YOUNG RON show helped a Good Samaritan save an abused dog’s life by raising money for its medical bills. The do-gooder, NICOLE GROSS, rescued a YORKSHIRE TERRIER that was thrown from a moving car.
She took the dog to a nearby animal hospital where doctors found that the mutt was infested with intestinal parasites and had heartworm disease. Eventually, doctors were able to bring the dog back to health -- but at a cost ...namely, over $1,500.
Enter PAUL and YOUNG RON, who brought in in GROSS to share her story and auction off a FENDER STRATOCASTER that was played and autographed by AEROSMITH guitarist JOE PERRY. Less than 20 minutes later, $2,300 was raised to pay the dog's medical bill and more.
